History
Momentis Systems started in 1975 as a consulting group servicing the system needs of a prestigious Canadian accounting firm with clients in the sewn goods area.
The early years were characterized by developing custom systems in a PC environment. By the 90’s we started to commit to a package approach.
1994 marked the year of our independence, becoming a privately held company. As such, we began to focus on maximizing efficiency of the software by investing in web technology.
2002 was a defining year where we accomplished and grew substantially. Momentis moved to new premises in the recently developed Multimedia Center, became a Microsoft Certified Partner, and started a new hardware division to offer a complete turnkey solution to our clients.
Today, our cutting-edge products are developed using Microsoft’s .NET Framework and our software development lifecycle is managed using Microsoft’s Team System. We are currently preparing for the release of Windows Vista, Office 2007, and .NET 3.0 to keep up with the most recent advances in technology.
